Interview Section With OG Jonah

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

I would love to work with Drake because he is a Canadian icon and a huge inspiration to me as a fellow Canadian rapper.

What differentiates you from the next “wannabe” rapper/singer?

The separation between the next underground artist and me is night and day. Besides the fact that I’ve toured across North America with Grammy-winning artists and platinum-selling artists, along with my own tours, I have over 200 songs on Spotify/Apple Music and my stardom continues to grow daily.

How do you plan to breakthrough?

My breakthrough will come by remaining consistent. Consistently touring and consistently releasing high-quality music will fuel my breakthrough into the mainstream music industry.

Where do you think the future of the music industry lies?

The future of the music industry lies in the hands of artists who can engage and cultivate audiences while being original and creative. People love originality and artists who create trends have always been at the forefront of the music industry.

Difficulties of the come up?

The greatest difficulty of the come up is when people don’t see me in the same way I see myself. In my head, I'm already bigger than Drake, however, I know I’ll have to continue working hard before the world views me in that light.
